Things start looking up, though, when Shelby meets fellow camper (and son of rock star) Austin Bridges III. Soon she realizes there's more to Austin than crush material - his family has a dark secret and he wants Shelby's help guarding it...
Excerpt:
"Hello?" I called out. I peeked around the corner of the giant mixer toward the bank of sinks, but I didn't see the cook. Maybe she was fixing her hairnet. "Um, I'm just here to get some-- slurrggrrff! A bizarre animal noise made me spin back toward the kitchen door."
